IN OVER 15 VIDEO LESSONS!

 

For this class project you‘ll need a watercolor paint set, a watercolor brush, watercolor paper, and any other pens, markers, or pencils you want to use. I’ll go over all of this in detail inside the class.

 

In this lesson I’ll show you where I go for theme and subject matter ideas. You will learn how to think up your own theme and subject matter ideas in the class workbook, or follow along with my on mine.

Don’t know what colors to use? No problem! I’ll share my easy color palette tips and hacks to make it fun and easy to choose your colors for your mood board project.

Mood board layout ideas
 

Learn the anatomy of a mood board, then find a layout that works for your mood board idea. I’ll give you links to my personal Pinterest boards containing tons of examples to save you loads of time!

 

Not good at sketching? You don’t have to be to rough out a simple project that will become a beautiful watercolor painting element for your mood board. Let me show you how easy this can be!

There are 3 painting lessons where I’ll show you how I paint the background and every element for your mood board even if you’re a total beginner! I want you to feel free to play and keep this process simple.

Outlining your watercolor paintings give them a crisp and finished look! This step is not required, but I wanted to show you this so you will have it in your skill set. You can also use markers, colored pencils, or waterbrush pens to this this too!

Assemble your watercolor mood board
 

Learn how to design and create pages, like calendars, habit trackers, list pages, and quote pages, and more, in your planner/journal by adding details with pens, markers, or any tools you choose. You can be as creative as you want to!

Whew!! At this point you’ve learned a lot. So we’ll do a quick recap of all the steps so you can keep it straight when you create your project. There will also be a recap of the steps in the class Workbook so you can refer to it anytime.
