Watercolor and Ink: From Small Illustrations to Beautiful Themed Artwork
Many think that artwork needs to be complicated or sophisticated in order to be great, but that's not the case at all. In fact, some of the most beautiful work out there is the simplest and most imperfect.
Your simple imperfect illustrations may not look that exciting to you, but…
You'd be surprised at how absolutely lovely your artwork might look to others. Meaning you are probably a better artist than you think you are!
This concept reduces imposter syndrome, creative block, and gets you creating when you might be stalling out. That's because we’ll be keeping the illustrations small and simple using ordinary subject matters.
It's so much easier to start when the project is broken down into simple approachable steps!
Here’s what you’ll get:
I’ll show you how to get inspired with a theme so you don’t get stuck at the starting line.
2. Then I’ll share my super simple set of art supplies so you don’t have to purchase anything extra.
3. I’ll share my illustration strategy with you, and show you how to create a final sketch for placement.
4. Take you through a few methods of choosing colors that work well together.
4. You’ll get easy to follow painting instruction videos you can follow as you create your illustrations.
5. Then we’ll finish with some black ink outlines to polish the look of each one of your themed illustrations.
You’ll get 14 step-by-step video lessons in total!

“I enjoyed the class so much. Chris V explained very clearly and let us see what she was doing, and her enthusiasm was infectious. What I really love is the fact that there was a clearly defined project.”

I'll be using very basic watercolor supplies so you can just focus on learning the process.

I share over 35 valuable tips in this class that I had to learn the hard way, so you don’t have to!
Why learn this?
You’ll sharpen your skills with a project that can be done over and over again with different or even the same themes!
You can create so many other projects with this skill, like sticker sheets, greeting cards, t-shirts, poster & wall art, surface designs, and so much more!
Magazine editors use this process, called editorials, to show off the latest styles and accessories of the season.
You'll walk away with a new appreciation for how ordinary objects can become beautiful works of art when they're grouped in smaller form.
Who is this class for?
This class is for beginner to intermediate artists who have at least some drawing experience and a love for watercolors. Especially if you’re looking for a fun and efficient way to spice up your artwork.
