IN OVER 20 VIDEO LESSONS!
For this class project you‘ll need a watercolor paint set, a watercolor brush, a blank journal with pages heavy enough to paint on, and any other pens, markers, or pencils you want to use. I’ll go over all of this in detail inside the class.
Getting inspired isn’t always easy. There’s nothing worse than that blank page syndrome when you’re trying to start a project! That’s why I’ll show you where I go to find inspiration.
What types of planner or journaling pages could you create? I’ll show you some of my past planner and journaling pages so you get some ideas about what you might want to do for your own project.
Storyboarding is an amazing tool to get all your thoughts and ideas in digestible form. Storyboard along with me in this special lesson until you get the clarity you need to get to start painting.
I’ll also show you how I choose a color palette. Even if you aren’t good with color, I’ll give you my best tips and tricks for putting together a beautiful color palette that you can carry through your entire project.
Even if you’ve never painted watercolor backgrounds before, I’ll show you simple and easy ways to create them. This step sets a positive and inspiring mood for your planner and journaling pages so you can’t wait to use them.
Painting one stand alone page is great, but painting a cohesive spread that looks like well thought out takes a bit of thought. I’ll show you just how you can do this for every page in your planner/journal!
Learn how to design and create pages, like calendars, habit trackers, list pages, and quote pages, and more, in your planner/journal by adding details with pens, markers, or any tools you choose. You can be as creative as you want to!
